Khmer Click was designed by information technology enthusiasts, for information technology enthusiasts. The aim of the site is to build a stronger and more closely linked community amongst Cambodia’s IT companies, organisations and professionals. We hope to populate this site with information that enlightens, informs and unites Cambodia’s growing ranks of IT professionals. To achieve this goal we hope to provide diverse content that will appeal to all sectors of Cambodia’s IT community.

Through the cooperation of Cambodia’s IT professionals, it is our hope that we can use the community built around this site as a spring board for other organised activities that share the aim of strengthening and promoting Cambodia’s ICT sector. These activities include but are by no means limited to:

• The establishment of user groups for popular technologies.
• The creation of open source projects.
• To encourage the use of open source technologies in Cambodia.
• To encourage the use of Khmer Unicode and to encourage the development of Khmer Unicode compliant software.
• The promotion of Khmer IT products, services and technologies both locally and internationally.

Obviously these are quite lofty aims and won’t be achieved over night, but with the support of the IT community it is our hope, that over time all of these aims and objections will be met.
